This is a great product that cleanses and also does a deeper conditioning that seems to strengthen my hair. I have long, curly and coarse hair, easily damaged and dry. After using this product (and no other conditioners) - my hair feels like it's deep conditioned, but not greasy or oily. Almost feels like it's strengthened, like the actual dried out cuticle portion of the hair is filled in, and yet it doesn't feel coated or slick. It's a small pump bottle, small amount of product.

Unlike most of the shampoos I use, this hair cleanser with almond oil does not lather up as much, but it acts more like a clarifying shampoo. I really like it, and I was hoping that's exactly what it would do. I had such a buildup of hairspray and other products in my hair, and it was starting to make my hair look drab and flat. The shampoo I've been using wasn't helping. I needed to use quite a bit of the Beautynearth cleanser to distribute through my hair, but it really does a great job in removing all the ""gunk."" It also has a nice pleasant vanilla scent. It was necessary to use a conditioner after shampooing since my hair had quite a bit of tangles in it after cleansing. I used the Beautynearth Argan oil conditioner, and my hair looks great! Lots of body and shine!

I found this shampoo to be surprisingly gentle on my hair and scalp, but it still managed to do a good job at washing the oils and product from my hair. I'll still need to use an occasional deep cleaning shampoo, but this works well as a daily shampoo and leaves my hair clean. It doesn't have a strong smell, which is kind of a bummer for me because I like my shampoo to leave my hair smelling nice, but I know that there are plenty of people that would be super happy to have a lightly fragranced shampoo.
